Martijn has performed and trained people all over the world in various aspects of hypnosis and NLP and he is considered an expert on flying phobias.

In this video interview, Martijn shares his story with Muneer and discusses the importance of  following your passions in the pursuit of becoming influential:

In this video, Martijn Groenendal shares his experience of following his passion and choosing NLP as a profession. According to him, you have to do what you really love in order to follow your passion. It can sometimes be difficult because you might not make money out of it initially. Or maybe you are afraid and don’t believe in yourself enough. But remember that you only live once and you need to make it count.

Martijn Groenendal’s thoughts on Influence

Martjin also describes influence as “feeling emotional about something”. Therefore in order to influence people, get emotionalized about the topic or idea. That way you will create emotion in others.

This basically means that in order to influence people, you must get emotionalized about the topic or idea yourself. When you do that, you are more likely to create emotion in others. To understand this further, check out this video I filmed in Italy where I talk about reciprocity – which is one of the principles of persuasion from my best selling book “power persuasion”

Muneer is passionate about learning from the best in the field, as a hypnotherapist and NLP trainer himself in Abu Dhabi in the UAE, he interviews some of the best hypnotists and NLP trainers around the world.
